2016 Central Region Area 7 Venturing Conference

The Venturing program is known for always leaning towards doing more high adventure type of activities. While this conference was not the most adventurous venue it was an adventure like none other. On March 5th, 2016, the Men and Women of Venture Crew 2888 traveled out to Gurnee, IL to Key Lime Cove for a very fun day of training, games, funny photo taking, and some adventurous water park fun! The day started off with some interesting training about how the Venturing program works within the council and how to better our crews. Then we moved into some awesome activities like an epic sized game of rock-paper-scissors and indoor snowball fighting icebreakers. Lunch was delicious and revved us up for a presentation from the Lithuanian scouts. Upon wrapping up the conference the Venturers moved into the indoor water park for some adventurous fun with water and physics! All in all the day ended on a high note and with a couple goofy group photos.
